Your drawings interrupt my silence but no words can come out...
Like an invitation to rethink the way I see things around me
I love your use of colour
All the best

Rireeeeeeeeeee

Bizzzzzzzz, Mazen, à bientôt à Paris, Amsterdam ou ailleurs, j'espère,

Sixt'

hello fay,
fortunately you don't know me for real, because my drawings are the only moment when i am actually silent. the rest of the time, nothing can interrupt my flow of words. a lot of friends want to kill me for this:)
anyways, it's cool to see you back here.

jet puissant!

I do not know what "for real" means and is there any one who knows anyone else "for real" in an absolute way?...
If your art is the expression of your silence please stay longer on your own and keep silent for a while...
just Kidding!
I have known some of your expressions since July 2006 and I liked the way you reflected on what happened in Lebanon. You helped in a way to go beyond the tragedy.
Keep drawing and we will keep visiting...
Cheers

Mazen,

ana bande, who wrote to you there works at what used to be my faculty's library... funny someone living so far away has drawn so close to our hearts... :) i liked finding out we both loved your work.
i am in fact part of "margenes editorial", if you remember about it. we are working on the selection of drawings, btw.
personally, i love your drawings... they sometimes remind me of mine, but yours come from a deeper feeling and life, i guess. a better work... i guess, too.
love, sabela.

There's an adidas commercial airing in the U.S. that looks freakishly based on your blog and drawings. The ad is through the link below. You need a patent.

Your drawings remind me of Saul Steinberg. Strange and interesting. What more? Like lighting a match in a dark room and seeing Guernica by its light.
